Have you ever wanted to do something but never had the time to start it? Well I discovered that, for myself, now is the time. I plan on documenting my Factory Five Racing ’33 Hot Rod build on these pages. They will be organized in chronological order and by following the FFR Build Manual, weIl sort of. I will be posting new items as progress is made so keep coming back to find out what the heck is going on in Dripping Springs.
A Factory Five Racing ’33 Hot Rod configured as a roadster with a soft top, AC (hey, I live in Texas), closed in engine bay (with side panel and hood removal capabilities), bike fenders, and enough power to scare the bigeminies out of me. FFR advertises the Hot Rod that weigh approximately 2,250 lbs. and I plan on using a BluePrint small block Chevy engine that produces a little over 500 hp. I think I will need to hang on tight.
